Ingredients

  • Limes:

    4

  • Sugar:

    100 g

  • Cold water:

    500 ml

  • Cachaça:

    6 cl

  • Ice cubes:

    Crushed

  • Lime slices:

    For garnish

  • Mint leaves:

    For garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the limes into small pieces, leaving the skin on.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine the lime pieces, sugar, and cold water.
  3. 3. Blend until the limes are thoroughly crushed and mixed with the water.
  4. 4. Strain the mixture to remove any solid pieces, leaving a smooth liquid.
  5. 5. Pour the lime mixture into a pitcher or large container.
  6. 6. Add the cachaça and stir well to combine.
  7. 7. Fill highball glasses with crushed ice cubes.
  8. 8. Pour the Brazilian lemonade over the ice in each glass.
  9. 9. Garnish each glass with a slice of lime and a few mint leaves.
  10. 10. Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing and spirited Brazilian lemonade!
